Stuart Sorkin

Entrepreneur in Residence

Stuart Sorkin is an Entrepreneur in Residence at Future Founders. In this role, he works with our Future Founders Fellowship program and provides intensive coaching to our millennial founders.

Stuart is the former President and Chief Executive Officer of Affy Tapple, LLC. He led Affy Tapple since identifying and engineering its acquisition in 1995 and transformed it into the largest wholesale caramel apple producer in the USA. That success was replicated after the acquisition of the Mrs. Prindable’s brand, which has grown into the largest food vendor on QVC. In late 2017, Stuart sold the company to a Chicago area based food company.

Prior to Affy Tapple, Stuart was a Vice President of Business Banking at American National Bank of Chicago (now part of JP Morgan Chase). Stuart began his career at Arthur Andersen & Co. in the auditing and advisory services division where he managed client transactions including a number of public security offerings. Stuart earned a BS degree in accountancy from Southern Illinois University and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
