Ramona Thomas is an Instructor at Future Founders. In this role, she leads high energy entrepreneurship activities for middle and high school students in Chicago.
She is also the founder and Chief Sweets Officer of My Chocolate Soul, a Chicago-based sweets company that specializes in amazing, all-natural chocolates. My Chocolate Soul grew out of Ramona’s love of baking and sweets, especially chocolate. She has also held management and consultant positions in the nonprofit and for-profit sectors, and has extensive experience in education, philanthropy, non-profit management, and in developing and implementing new initiatives.
Ramona holds a bachelor’s degree in applied mathematics from Brown University and a doctorate in higher education from the University of Pennsylvania. Ramona is also a graduate (with honors) of Ecole Chocolat’s Professional School of Chocolate Arts Chocolatier Program. She completed the Barry Callebaut Chocolate Academy’s program for professional chocolatiers, and continuing education courses at the French Pastry School in Chicago.
