Danielle Tubbs is an Instructor at Future Founders. In this role, she leads high energy entrepreneurship activities for middle and high school students in Chicago.
Originally from Miami, Danielle fell in love with Chicago during her time in college. After her undergraduate experience, she worked as a tutor and mentor in a school in North Lawndale through City Year. She also served as a Program Coordinator with The Posse Foundation and Assistant Director of Academic Programs at Big Shoulders Fund.
Danielle founded her own business, Tubby’s Taste Vegan Dessert for Everyone, in 2014 and is an alumna from the 2018 Residency cohort and 2019 Fellowship cohort. She brings people together with delicious desserts that happen to be both vegan and pay homage to her Jamaican and African American heritage.
Danielle received her Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the University of Florida. She is excited to be a part of the Future Founders team and working with students again on a topic she’s passionate about — entrepreneurship.
